Abstract

It is shown that, despite various modifications and clarifications classical theory of nucleation, it is far from matching the experimental and theoretical data. The main reason for this is due to not taking into account the size dependence of the surface tension of the emerging centers of crystallization. For many metals calculated critical radius homogeneous formation of crystals. Defined by the surface tension and sulfates of alkali metals, alkaline earth. The problem of growing crystals by recycling solution. Theoretical aspects of the pilot demonstrated the growth of crystals of alkali metal sulfates.
