Abstract

The authors proposed an original design of the burner having a nozzle with an aerodynamic twist to burn coal-water fuel. Originality nozzle design is that the mixing of the fuel with the oxidant and twisting occurs in the cavity of the nozzle having a shape Witoshynsky calculated by the formula used in the application aerodynamics. Witoshynsky profile provides a smooth contraction with flow swirling and a more effective pulverization of the mixture after the nozzle outlet The study received a diagram of the temperature dependence of the combustion VUT time.
