Purpose: the main goal of the journal «Bulletin of the Karaganda University. Series «Physics» is a coverage of current problems of modern physics and technology that contain new results of theoretical or experimental research.

The journal tasks to inform a wide range of the scientific community about new scientific developments and technical solutions for fundamental and applied research.

The editorial policy of the journal is based on the following principles:

- objectivity and impartiality in the selection of articles for publication;

 - high demands on the quality of scientific research;

 - collegiality in making decisions about the publication of articles;

 - accessibility and efficiency in communicating with authors;

 - strict observance of copyright and related rights;

 - strict observance of the schedule of the journal publication.

The subject of the journal includes sections that reflect the achievements of various branches of physical science:

- condensed matter physics;

- Thermophysics and theoretical heat engineering;

- technical physics.

The journal does not publish:

-materials that do not correspond to the subject of the journal;

-previously published by the authors in other publications;

-containing spelling, mathematical or other errors that cannot be corrected, as well as statements and hypotheses that directly contradict established scientific facts.
